NCT Thru-hiker makes it to Vermont
Luke Jordan, aka “Strider”, has completed the North Country Trail this week after starting in North Dakota in March. Originally from Minnesota, Luke heard about the NCT as a trail worker, and decided to take it on, becoming the 4th person to do so successfully. At around 4600 miles, the NCT is no small feat!
Although it’s current eastern terminus is in NY at Crown Point, the National Park Service and MALT are working to extend it to the Long Trail, using the Trail Around Middlebury as a section.
